Honeypot Cottage in Harwood-in-Teesdale
We operate Peghorn Lodge Farm, Widdy Bank Farm and Seavy Hill Farm, all of which are owned by Lord Barnard. We run suckler cows and calves, pedigree Galloway cows and calves, plus Swaledale sheep.
From here you will be able to enjoy a walk to Cow Green reservoir and along its shoreline Nature Trail to the breath-taking Cauldron Snout, England's longest and most impressive cascade. From here you can continue down the edge of Widdy Bank Fell, where our sheep graze, through to Widdy Bank Farm where you will see our Galloway cattle graze. Here can be seen the rare and famous Blue Gentian wild flower that is a relic of the Ice Age.
